Today is Friday almost 5 pm. and the only thing that crossed my mind after a full, full week of work was: Thanks!!!!! thanks you for calling me for the pick ups, thank you for calling me on the items, thank you for purchasing used items and not letting them become land fill, thank you for looking at my cookie video and crazy stories ( I didn't tell you the chicken one yet) I will share it next monday. Thanks for all that you do and thanks for supporting the cause, thanks for being a part of Vintage MOM and thanks for allowing me to come into your computer and share my words.

What is today??????

Ok it is 3:30 in the morning and Yohan wakes me up " Mom, Mom i had a nightmare" so with one eye open and one eye closed i ask him.....what was it..like a good mom would only thinking inside ( boy is 3:30 in the morning I am still asleep and I need my rest it was only a dream) but of course this is not politically correct.....so he starts and tells me the dream: Mom you are driving a train and it has a steering wheel we all are going to the beach but you went over a bump and the train crashed...we were all ok but when we were walking home a ghost was chasing me. My son in tears I comfort him and ask him about his favorite ice cream and favorite toy....we went down the list until he fell asleep........good i get to sleep Now.
In the morning my eyes feel like the sand man was still having a blast throwing sand in my face. I go get my coffee and get the boys ready.....So I asked Yohan so how do you feel this morning.." OK Mom, that dream was horrible but I know where it came from!....I read a book in school yesterday ( how to get rid of bad dreams) and there was a ghost in the book. the trick is that when you have a bad dream you take out the shrink ray. so I asked " did you take out the shrink ray" no Mom I forgot.
Note to self " self tell the teacher no more get rid of bad dreams books, they don't let me sleep. and by the way after Yohan finished his story Michael said " Mom I had a dream too, mine was that I had braces...)ok this was a nightmare for me at that moment .......I screamed in my head !!!!!!!!!!!GREAT HERE THEY COME BRACES FOR MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!
All in all this was my beginning today and to think that I have to do 3 pick ups and work on the Vintage Jeans section today. I think I need a few more cups of coffee.

VINTAGE MOM NEW HOME

OK so we are finally here!!!!! organizing is becoming a way of life, getting items every day. Trying to make the warehouse homey has become an obsession. I move boxes and items all day long......
So I get here in the morning and a notice in the door by the fire dept: we were here and you were not. We need to do an inspection. "Holly cow now what" what now I am just trying to get this project going and BAM!!! a new thing. So I call the guy really afraid of what he is going to say: Mrs Vintage MOM I need to come in and check the place out.....sure thing I said thinking great this is going to cost me an arm and a leg. A gentleman from Ohio.... I see all is in order you only need to move the fire extinguisher and have it service. this Will cost you between $ 10 dollars and $50 dollars. you need to move that shelf and when this is done just call us and we will come again. also here is your paper and this will cost you between $50 and $150. and this is only the beginning.
So this was my morning surprise. Pretty much he said welcome to the game.

Kid on a box

So Today was like any other day.
Morning breakfast. uniforms, teeth, shoes, and of course box on head.
Yohan decided to go out into the world with a box on his head. Every place he went was with this box....this did not make driven easy due to the fact that we are in the truck the three of us so driving with Yohan next to me was kind of hard with that box.


The looks were a lot and the comments were of pure smiles....I think he achieved what he set out to do either bring smiles to people or prove a point (don't know what the point was) He did not care to communicate it but he had his reason......God only knows and of course Yohan..... Thankfully he took it of to eat.

Michael at the beginning was a bit uncomfortable but later he didn't care he was helping his brother with the box.

All in all did my pick up and got great new stuff check it out.
